Abstract The aim of this project is to survey academic health sciences librarians to learn about the challenges they face when they are part of a growing health system. Thirty-seven librarians completed a survey about the challenges they face in the current academic health sciences environment, highlighting specific concerns related to affiliated health system growth. This paper describes the results of the survey to enhance understanding among academic health sciences librarians regarding how library collections, budgets, and technology can be impacted by growth in affiliated health systems. © 2022 The Author(s).
