Abstract Celebrating its 75th year in 2022, Lynsey Hawker and Imrana Ghumra, Co-Chairs of the Health Libraries Group (HLG) look back on its origins, celebrate key activities and achievements. From its humble beginnings as the Medical Section of the UK Library Associations’ University and Research Section, becoming a Section in its own right, its evolution as the Medical, Health and Welfare Libraries Group.
